Reka welcomes you to Spa Nine & Hair Design. She brings over 20 years of passion and experience in spas around the world. She is originally from Budapest, Hungary. Often called the "Capital of Eastern European Spas", where indulging in ways to promote health and beauty is strongly believed to be an act of self-respect, self-care and self-love. Growing up in Europe, Reka had the opportunity to enjoy and experience some of the most renowned spas from a very early age, and deeply connected with the core purpose of the Spa World.
She became a skin care therapist to help individuals achieve their skin care goals and honed those skills in spas for over 10 years before she chose to devote herself to a leadership role as a Spa Director in one of the most respected luxury Spa Brands, the Ritz-Carlton Spa. In that role Reka helped develop and lead award winning spas for the company in countries across the globe. She was also a member of the Ritz-Carlton Corporate Advisory Council, contributing to the company’s success by creating impeccable Spa Journeys for the Brand.
Reka has received numerous leadership awards for her work in promoting a healthy spa lifestyle, including such prestigious accolades as the 5 Star Ritz-Carlton award and Mr. Marriott’s Global Recognition Award (THE EDGE), which honored her passion, commitment and contribution to Excellence in Delivering Guest Engagement for the Ritz-Carlton and Marriott International Spa Brands.
